St Georges Toastmasters International and Evaluation Contest
St Georges Toastmasters International and Evaluation contest will be held on Wednesday 27th February.
The contests aim to provide an opportunity for speakers to improve their speaking abilities and to recognise the best as encouragement to all. It also provides an opportunity to learn by observing the more proficient speakers who have benefited from their Toastmasters training.
The International contest allows members to truly stretch their speaking skills as they attempt to inspire the audience in a 5-7 minute timeframe. This contest is only eligible to members who have already completed 6 project speeches.
The Evaluation contest encourages members to hone their technique for giving constructive feedback. All competitors listen to the same speech (from a test speaker) and then present their feedback one by one.
